Board Of Water Commissioner Meetings

The Board of Water Commissioners meets regularly one time per month. Please contact us for dates and times at: (508) 477-6767.

The annual District meeting is the 4th Tuesday in April each year.

Important Dates in the History of Mashpee Water District

1987 - Mashpee Water District is formed by Chapter 136 of the Acts of 1987.

1987 - 1990 agreements authorize Mashpee Water District to receive water from Town of Falmouth to supply water to areas of Mashpee contaminated by Otis Air Force Base.

1990 - New source of water: Quaker Run Road Well.

1991 - Mashpee Water District purchases Highwood Water Company, increasing the customer base from approximately 500 to 3,000. This addition also brings 3 water supply wells.

1993 - 3 million gallon Back Road water tank in service.

1999 - New source of water: Turner Road Well on line.

1999 - District purchases and renovates building in Industrial Park to consolidate District operations.

2002 - New source of water: Mashpee Village Well on line.

2003 - 1 million gallon Meetinghouse Road water tank in service.

2003 - MMR Metering Station operational.

2005 - New source of water: Belcher Road Well on line.
